I moved my wp blog from one server to another.. the super-cache is broken and will not even let me into my admin panel... now what?

I am glad that worked for you. Nevertheless, all you had to do is input the command (as root):

a2enmod rewrite

...and Debian would create a symbolic link from existing resource /etc/apache2/mods-available/rewrite.load to /etc/apache2/mods_enabled/rewrite.load

With the way you described it, its making me envious to not have the opportunity of being able to attend this event. Pyrotechnics and laser display are really cool, what more if they're showcased together? I'm pretty sure a lot of jaw were left hanging on the floor by its prestige.
